Worked example: when a kitchen in Majorna keeps an extra 90 kr on an order — money that would otherwise have gone in commission — nothing dramatic happens. Nobody builds a new kitchen on 90 kr. But money that stays in a city moves differently from money that leaves it.
The money moves on nearby
A local business's margin more often becomes wages for someone who lives in the city, purchases from a nearby supplier, or an extra hour for the extra staff on a Friday. The same krona goes round several times before it leaves the area.
The difference isn't 90 kr. The difference is where those 90 kronor go next.
This is not charity
We're not asking you to pay more to be kind. The price you pay is the same or lower — the whole point of zero commission is that the business doesn't need to raise its price to survive on the platform. You get the same thing. Only the split behind it is different.
Where we're honest
We're new and we're small. We have fewer restaurants signed up than the big players, and we cover one city — not the whole country. If what you need isn't with us yet, tell us: every such email is a list of who we should talk to next.
